Ms. Indu Yadav

Vice-Principal

Ms. Indu Yadav,Vice-Principal, is a post graduate in English Literature from Hansraj College, Delhi University. She started her illustrious career as PGT English. During her tenure of almost two decades, she has successfully dabbled with myriad roles of being the Class Coordinator, Functions Coordinator, Student Exchange Programme Coordinator and Debating Head among many other. She has also been the Head Examiner for the CBSE Class XII Evaluation. Owing to her expertise in her subject and her leadership qualities, Ms. Yadav received several opportunities to conduct teacher training programmes and workshops in India and abroad. She believes that theatre is a powerful medium to connect with children and draw them out. She has a special penchant for scripting and directing plays and has also written articles for various newspapers and magazines.

Ms. Yadav joined Lotus Valley International School as Headmistress in 2011. With her multi-faceted personality, she spearheaded many new initiatives to augment learning, stay abreast of the technological developments and provide hands-on learning experiences to children. She believes that the purpose of education is value creation and schools should help nurture positive world citizens and creative problem solvers for a better world.

Her amiable personality coupled with her effective communication and listening skills help her in eliciting the best from her colleagues and students.

Ms. Jyoti Gupta

Incharge – Classes VII - VIII

Ms. Jyoti Gupta,is a postgraduate in English Literature from IGNOU. Through a career spanning close to 14 years, she has taught students across middle and senior levels. She was instrumental in acquiring the prestigious International School Award instituted by the British Council for her previous school. She has been the Chief Editor of the annual school magazine and led the Theatre, and Debate Clubs. She has written numerous short poems one of which was published in ‘Teacher Plus’, an Indian magazine for school teachers. She is an educational world cinema enthusiast and has encouraged her students to participate in both National and International Film Festivals as either jury members or film makers.

During the course of her career, Ms. Gupta coordinated a string of projects spreading global awareness among students as the International Programme Coordinator. She accomplished collaborative

projects with several countries including USA, France, Germany, Spain, and South Korea through educational trips and student exchange programmes. Her travels overseas have not only broadened her horizons but also made it easy for her to work with people hailing from different cultures and diversities.

Ms. Neerja Rishi

Incharge – Classes V - VI

Ms. Neerja Rishi, a post graduate in History from Rohilkhand University, has an experience of approximately 15 years in teaching students in the age group of 8-15 years. She joined Lotus Valley International School, Noida on April 1, 2007. She was appointed Incharge classes V-VI on December 1, 2016 and looks forward to infuse new energy and drive innovation in her department. She has been coordinating various events in the school and was being instrumental in bringing positive changes in the progress of the school.

She inspires her students to be keen learners, global thinkers and most importantly compassionate and sensitized human beings. She strongly believes that educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.

A positive person with a lot of determination, she strongly believes that hard work always pays. She loves her profession it connects her to so many young and diverse minds who inspire her to give her best every day. She explores life through the eyes of her students who have greatly helped in making her the person she is.

Ms. Seema Singh

Incharge – Classes III – IV

Ms. Seema Singh Pawar, a History graduate from Delhi University, she holds a post graduate degree in the same subject from Himachal University. She also possesses a degree in Human Resource Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management, Pune.

She joined Lotus Valley International School, Noida, on September 12, 2005 and has contributed significantly to the school. She has a vast experience of 18 Years in the field of education, in teaching students of the age group 8-15 years, she was appointed as In charge of classes III & IV on December 1, 2016.Her mission is to make the children learn through innovative methods and imparting moral values like discipline, tolerance and respect for each other. She is a firm believer that education should be an amalgamation of traditional and modern ways of learning for the holistic development of the students for a globalized world.

A passionate, optimistic and steadfast person, who takes up responsibilities with enthusiasm, she is an effective team player who contributes valuable ideas and opinions for the growth of the institution. Her optimistic and planned approach in life is what drives her towards success.

Ms. Mona Kalra

Incharge – Classes I – II

Ms. Mona Kalra, an M.Sc., B.Sc. (Gold Medalist) in Home Science, joined the school in 2004 as a founder teacher. She has been in this noble profession for nearly two decades with a reputation for excellent classroom management skills and fun based learning. She was appointed as the In-charge, Classes I and II in the year, 2014.

In the 10 years of her service at LVIS, she has refined her skills to emerge as an excellent teacher and an inspiring team leader, endearing herself to the students and teachers alike. She has a keen eye for spotting talent in the students, possesses the wisdom to delegate responsibility and has the ability to give her students and team members opportunities to work towards more aspirational goals.

She inspires and leads by the sheer dynamism of a kind and compassionate heart. A perfectionist with a keen sense of responsibility, she believes in working with honesty and tireless dedication in order to realize a vision. Her bright and vibrant approach and her cheerful demeanour enable her to continue working with zeal and enthusiasm and drive the school to great heights of success.
