CHOOSE WISELY …

TRUTH OVER HATRED, BRAVERY OVER COWARDICE, GOOD OVER EVIL……

We, at Lotus Valley International School, Noida, believe in fostering an overall development in children by making them proactively participate in school assembly. Therefore, a special assembly was presented by the students of class V –Adriatic and Caspian on Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti on 3 October,2016 with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The assembly started on a spiritual note with the chanting of Gayatri Mantra followed by the news.

The thought for the day was presented by a child representing as Malala Yousafzai . The thought highlighted her principled choice – be brave to fight with evil… fight for the education of women

The comperes for the day acquainted the audience with various facets of  Dussehra.

The Indian Instrumental Choir group mesmerized all with their musical presentation which highlight the importance of the festival in today’s world.

Dussehra symbolizes the conquest of good over evil and therefore, it is also called Vijayadashmi. It reminds people of the fact that truth is always victorious and it motivates people to follow the path of ‘Truth and Dharma’.

India celebrates Gandhi Jayanti , birthday of the great leader who gave the world the invincible weapons of Truth, Non – violence and Compassion. Our students have their ideologies very closely linked with Gandhiji and his beliefs. Thus, the Mahatma’s birthday was celebrated to acquaint everyone with his five principles of life

A ‘Nukkad Natak’ was presented by the students to highlight one of his principles – “CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS”

This assembly was an ideal platform to convey the essence of Dusshera and Gandhi Jayanti to the students of Lotus Valley International School by the students of Lotus Valley International School.
