EVENT: Prize Distribution

DAY AND DATE: 21st  November, 2017

VENUE: Amphitheatre, C- Block

  • YCQ – Your Champion Quiz – 2016 was held on 9th Oct. 2017 at LVIS premises in which Dhaani Sood of VIII Nishaat and Samarth Choudhary of VII Proteus were awarded certificates for their outstanding performance.
  • A drawing –cum – Painting Competition was held on 14th Oct. 2017 by Tansen  Sangeet Mahavidhalaya, where Rakshita Rastogi of VII Europa bagged the second prize from the East Zone Centre. She was also awarded a gold medal.
  • Privartan- The Change Within, a painting competition was held at St. Joseph School, Greater Noida in which Ritvik Lakhotia of VIII Mirabell was awarded with a gold medal and a certificate.
  • Anvii Mishra of VIII Pinjore won a bronze medal and a cheque of Rs 1000/- for the 2nd level of IMO for the academic session 2016- 2017. She secured  the 32 International Rank.
  • An Interschool Painting Competition, ‘Impression – an Art and Craft was held at Cambridge School, Indirapuram, on 11th Oct, 2017. She secured the first position in the event 3-d Art Installation. She was awarded with a trophy and a certificate.
  • Dhaani Sood of VIII Nishaat participated in the Geeta Chanting Interschool Competition held at Chinmaya Vidhalaya on 27th Oct, 2017. She won a consolation prize and certificate for the same.
  • ‘Rang De India’ A poster making competition was organised by Dehradun Public School, Ghaziabad on 7th October, on the topic ‘Swachh Bharat’ in which Ritvik Lakhotia of VIII Mirabell won the first prize.
  • Hindi Vikas Sansthan organised the Hindi Olympiad in which Tanishka Jain of VIII Cubbon, Aamani Anuj of VIII Exbury and Chayank Bhargava of VIII Vrindavan won silver medals and certificates for the same.
  • Ashman Wadhawan of VII Telesto and Dhruv Choudhary of VIII Shalimaar secured the first position in an Interschool Mathematical Competition ‘Symposium’ which was held at Cambridge School, Indirapuram.
  • Krish Saraf of VIII Mirabell won the second prize in All India Open Speed Skating Championship organised by Rajputana Sports Foundation held at Gurugram in International Skating Link called ‘bent rack’ and also won Rs 2000/-. He also won the 3rd prize in Sarla Chopra DAV International School conducted by District Roller Skating Association.
  • Ananya Manchanda of VII Proteus won a trophy as she secured the first position in Hasya Ke Rang – a Hasya Kavi Sammelan which was held in Millennium School on 10th November, 2017
  • Sankirtana Dileep of VIII Cubbon won the third prize in ‘Poetic Raga’ held at Cambridge School on 1st November, 2017. She was awarded a trophy for the same.
  • An Inter house Treasure Hunt Competition was held on 26th July, 2017. Nalanda House secured the first position. The participants were: Shruti Srivastava of VIII Lodhi,  Suryansh Nagar of VIII Vrindavan and Viraaj of VII Telesto.

Pisa House secured the second position. The participants were: Siddak Singh Grewal of VIII Millennium, Srishti Hariharan of VIII Lodhi and Arushi Paribrajak of VII Ganymede.

  • An Inter House Volleyball Tournament was held from 9th – 16th August, 2017. The results are as follows:

Girl’s Category:

Takshila House secured the first position. The participants were: Gul Kumar of VIII Exbury, Shagun Joshi of VIII Lodhi, Rudranshi Arora of VIII Cubbon, Manishka Mishra of VIII Pinjore, Preksha Rahi of VIII Lodhi, Amishi Garg of VIII Mirabell, Paridhi Tandon of VII Atlas, Kashish Bhatia of VIII Versailles, Insha Tasnim of VII Proteus, Saanika Bandha of VIII Exbury and Aashi Seth of VII Telesto

Nalanda House secured the second position and Alexandria House secured the third position. Lavanya Puri of VIII Cubbon was the given the best player award.

Boy’s Category:

Nalanda House secured the first position. The participants were: Ansh Bal Dixit of VIII Pinjore, Anvesh Agarwal of VIII Vrindavan, Akshat Rajput of VIII Millennium, Raunak Singh of VII Ganymede, Viraaj Kackar of VIII Lodhi, Arnav of VIII Shalimar, Anant of VIII Shalimar, Subhav of VIII Shalimar, Vansh of VIII Eden and Udayan of VIII Exbury.

Pisa House secured the second position and Takshila House secured the third position. Anvesh Agarwal of VIII Vrindavan was the given the best player award.

  • An Inter House Chess Tournament was held in the school premises. The results are as follows:

Girl’s Category:

Nalanda House secured the first position with 6 points.

Rameshwari Vadhvani of VIII Shalimar from Alexandria House secured the second position with 4 points.

Kashish Bhatia of VIII Versailles from Takshila House secured the third position with 2 points.

Boy’s Category:

Dhawal Arora of VIII Pinjore from Alexandria House secured the first position with 6 points.

Pisa House secured the second position with 4 points.

Aditya Singh of VIII Eden from Alexandria House secured the third position with 2 points.
