The Annual Sports Achievers Felicitation ceremony 2023-24 was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 23 February, 2024. The event commenced with a spirited opening with the school song.
117 players of different sports were felicitated with merit certificates, blazers, tracksuits and cash prizes. Cheers of encouragement and appreciation resounded throughout the venue. The awards distributed were not just an honour to those students who excelled in their sport but were also a great motivation to others. Dr. Ruchi Seth, Director Principal, welcomed the august gathering.
Chief Guest, Dr. Vikram Singh Deputy Director, Physical Education, Jawaharlal Nehru University, addressed the gathering with his motivational words. He mentioned that transforming the future is only possible when one has the right skill set, good health and right decision-making attitude. He also mentioned that in longer run, active and continued participation in sports and physical activity would pay rich dividends in terms of fitness, well being and happiness. Parents should be the first to set examples and should lead from front. The event ended with the Vote of Thanks by the Sports Captain.
