Grade XII Assembly Commemorating Earth Day

On May 3, 2024, grade XII students of Kalam and Aryabhatta organized a compelling class assembly in commemoration of Earth Day. The assembly aimed to raise awareness and responsibility for our planet within the school community. It commenced with a solemn school prayer followed by a poignant skit depicting human exploitation of Earth's resources and its impact on wildlife, highlighting the imperative for environmental conservation and sustainable practices. The students further engaged the audience with an interactive quiz on animals, fostering both enjoyment and education while advocating for biodiversity conservation. In recognition of academic excellence, achievers of the recent International Informatics Olympiad were honored in a prize distribution ceremony led by Ms. Richa Bhatnagar. Pranet Kumar was awarded a substantial prize of Rs 5000/- for securing the 3rd Rank with a Bronze Medal, while Shubh Gupta earned the 22nd Rank and received a Rs 400/- cheque along with a Bronze medal. Additionally, Shaurya Aditya Jauhar and Avika Kapoor were presented with a trophy and Certificate of Excellence for their achievements in the Commerce International Olympiad. The assembly reached its conclusion with the eagerly awaited announcement of the Student Council results by Vice Principals, Ms. Jyoti Vats and Ms. Deepti Singh along with Academic Coordinator Ms Sukriti Roy.
