LVISN Celebrates Indian Heritage Day and Ambedkar Jayanti
The students of Millennium, Exbury and Lodhi of grade VIII hosted a beautifully curated assembly to celebrate World Heritage Day and Ambedkar Jayanti. The assembly focused on showcasing India in all its colours through the media of dance, song and Yoga. They also emphasized India’s unique multilingual ethos through their thought of the day, beautifully enunciated in a variety of Indian languages. The students also took cognizance of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar’s role in shaping India by advocating for equality and uplifting marginalized communities. The students saw a thought-provoking documentary on the same.
Vice Principal, Ms. Shilpika Dass, and middle school Incharge, Ms. Neerja Rishi, motivated students for wholesome individualistic growth and towards assuming leadership in nation-building.
