Earth Day Activities at LVISN

The Primary Wing of LVISN enthusiastically participated in various activities to celebrate our benevolent Mother Earth. On the occasion of the Earth Day, an array of creative activities was organized with a view to sensitize the children about the conservation of natural resources and to motivate them to do their bit towards making their planet even more beautiful. The day commenced with students embarking on a collective journey of commitment as they echoed their pledge for a greener, more sustainable future. Further, the students delved deep into the heart of environmental issues through Poster making and Wall Hanging activities, exploring themes of sustainability, conservation, and the inter-connectedness of all life on our planet. ‘Creative Leaf Art Activity’ was organised where learners unleashed their creativity by transforming humble leaves into works of art, infusing the day with bursts of nature's brilliance. A tree plantation drive unfolded, igniting the spirit of environmental stewardship among children. The young learners were also captivated as they immersed themselves in inspiring videos featuring Green Warriors, individuals dedicated to safeguarding our environment, as well as a talk by Vice Principal Ms Shilpika Dass, tasking students with finding viable alternatives to reduce their carbon footprint. The activities rekindled emotive concerns and inspired the youngsters to save, love and respect Mother Nature with all their heart and soul.
