LVISN’s sports achievers have made their mark in recent inter-school competitions, bringing laurels to the school!
Vahin Gambhir of UKG Flamingoes participated in the Ghaziabad Open inter-club Skating Competition organized by Devaswom Sports Club from 13-14 April 2024. He has secured the Second position in U-5 category.
Skater Yedhant Singh of class III won a silver medal in the 1000mts race in the age group 7-9 years at the 5th Ranking Roller Skating Championship from 25-28 April 2024 at Amritsar.
Tennis star Yuvraj Singh from class IX secured 2nd place in the MTA Open Tennis Championship held at Noida. He received a certificate, trophy and a cash prize of Rs 3000.
The boys’ cricket team gave a tough fight to host Billabong High School in the semi-final round of a tournament from 2 to 7 May to reach the finals, and ultimately won the Runners Up award.
The Table Tennis team participated in an inter-school Table Tennis Tournament organized by Fortune World School, Sector 105, Noida from 7 to 8 May 2024. The results are:
Under-15 boys’ team, comprising Ishan Bubber (IX Cascades), ?Chitraksh Arora (VIII Versailles), ?Parsh Jain (VIII Versailles), and ?Maanvik Jindal (VIII Lodhi), won the Third Position.
Under-11 girls’ team, comprising Vedika Goel (III Indus), Kashni Jain (III Brahamputra), ?Rabani Trehan (V Baltic), and ?Ayana Jain (V Caspian) won the Second position.
Our young and energetic U-15 girls’ Basketball team won the Runners-up award at a Sports Tournament organized by Billabong High International School, Noida from 29 April to 2 May 2024.
At the same tournament, our Tennis team won various awards in different categories:
U-14 girls - Khushi Sharma (IX) was the Winner; Twishi Khilariwal (IX) was the Runner-up, and Kavya Kala (IX) won the Third position.
U-14 boys - Daksh Vikas (IX) was the Runner-up, and Yuvraj Singh (IX) won the Third position.
U-18 boys - Vedant Khilariwal (XII) won the Third position.
U-18 girls - Ayanna Singh (XII) and Kriti Misra (XII) won the Third position.
Furthermore, our Table Tennis team brought home laurels as well:
Chitraksh Arora (VIII) won the Second position; Hriday Anand (V) won the Third position; Vihaan Bhandari (V) won the Third position, and Parsh Jain (VIII) won the Most Promising player award.
To cap it all, our Chess team had a stellar performance as well:
Himadri Gaur (VI) won the Third position in U-12 category, and Aaryan Chopra was declared the Best Player in U-14 boys’ category.
In total, Lotus Valley Team bagged 16 Trophies. A proud day indeed for the Lotus Valley Team!
