As part of LVISN's robust international exchange programme, selected students of classes IX to XI continued the French Exchange with students of Sainte Marie Bastide in Bordeaux, and visited the school in June, accompanied by Vice Principal Ms Shilpika Dass and teacher of French Ms Gunjan Malik, staying with the families of the students they had hosted on their trip to India earlier in the session. The immersive cultural and language exchange programme included attending classes as well as taking in the sights with the host students, as well as recreational visits to a vineyard, a goat cheese factory, and local markets. The trip culminated with 2 days in Paris, taking in iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe on the bustling Champs Elysees, Notre Dame, Louvre and Sacre Couer. The exchange programme saw the students of both countries forging warm ties and collaborating on projects that will not just encourage internationalism but also the spirit of social stewardship and service among the youth
