Orientation program

On August 6, 2024, Lotus Valley International School, Noida, proudly hosted an impactful orientation program for Desh and Hum 3.0, organized in collaboration with the National Academy of Direct Taxes, Regional Campus, Delhi, and Salwan Education Trust. This initiative is designed to empower young citizens and enhance the nation’s capabilities under the theme “Sachet Bharat, Samridh Bharat – Empowering Nation Building.” The event featured a distinguished lineup of guests, including Shri Mahesh Shah, an esteemed officer of the Indian Revenue Service with over 29 years of experience in the Income Tax Department, and Smt. Seema Dhankar, Additional Director of Income Tax at NADT. Notable attendees included Sh. Sunil Gaur, Ms. Kiran S. Anand, MD. Sahrul Hasan Sahar, and Shri Paramjeet Khanna, alongside the Salwan Team, which comprised principals, vice principals, teachers, and participants from various schools across the NCR. Moreover, the program connected virtually with educators and students from other regions of India. The event began with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the felicitation of guests. Key highlights included a welcome address by the Secretary of Salwan Education Trust, a keynote speech by the Principal Additional Director General of NADT, and a captivating video presentation on income tax. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, fostering dialogue among participants, and a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Ruchi Seth, Director Principal of Lotus Valley International School, inspiring all attendees to contribute to a brighter future for our nation. #DeshAndHum #SachetBharat #SamridhBharat
