Shiksha Saptah at LVISN Primary Wing
From July 22nd to 28th, 2024, the Primary Wing of LVISN celebrated "Shiksha Saptah '' with great enthusiasm to mark the 4th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This week-long event highlighted the importance of holistic education with activities that centrestaged art, tech and sport-integrated learning.
DAY 1 - MONDAY - July 22, 2024
Teachers displayed the children's stories and poems, highlighting their imagination and creativity. Additionally, Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs) were exhibited to enhance teacher productivity. The celebration was a rewarding and enriching experience for both learners and teachers.
DAY 2 - TUESDAY - July 23, 2024
FLN Day – On Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Day, the spotlight was cast on the critical importance of foundational literacy and numeracy skills for young learners
DAY 3 - WEDNESDAY – July 24, 2024
Sports Day – A series of events were organised to promote this vital aspect of education.The activities included inter-house swimming competitions, which provided a platform for students to demonstrate their aquatic skills. Additionally, videos highlighting traditional and indigenous sports were shown to the students, followed by engaging them in these sports firsthand.
DAY 4 -THURSDAY – July 25, 2024
Cultural Day – The students showcased their talents in various performing and visual arts. The Talent Hunt provided a platform for students to shine, foster a sense of community, and encourage artistic expression within the school.
DAY 5 - FRIDAY – July 26. 2024
An engaging Clay Club session was conducted that captivated students with the art of clay modelling. And a highly informative parent talk on STEAM IT and AI was organised for students, with a special focus on the topic of Simple Machines.
DAY 6 - SATURDAY – July 27, 2024
A session titled "Physical Wellness: Nutrition for Teacher” was conducted on the importance of physical wellness among educators and students, highlighting the benefits of an active lifestyle and offering practical strategies for daily routines.
